A player’s age group is determined based on their age before January 1, 2010. Therefore, any player who is 18 years of age before January 1, 2010 must register to play senior rugby – for insurance purposes no exceptions can be made.
The first year of a life membership is a $500 deposit and $200 instalments are due annually until paid in full. Life members playing at the senior level must pay individual insurance and union dues for the season as well.
Registered rugby program participants are covered under the Rugby Canada liability and accident policies. If you are injured in a sanctioned rugby event, you may be eligible for supplementary medical benefits.
